
Sinaye Bhongolethu Pride Nonqane
Sinaye Bhongolethu Pride Nonqane, born on 28 August 2001, is a talented singer, songwriter, and actress from Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal. She began her musical journey in 2018 as a backing vocalist for one of Umlazi’s most renowned choirs, Umlazi Gospel Choir The Original. Through her dedication and passion for music, she has had the opportunity to work alongside respected artists such as Putuma Tiso, Xolani Mdlalose, and Siyakha Khitha. From 2021 to 2022, Sinaye further developed her musical abilities by studying at the Durban Music School, where she also specialized in Bass Guitar. In 2022, she expanded her artistic portfolio by participating in the theatrical production *Izulu: A Love Story*, which was showcased at the Durban Playhouse Theatre. In 2023, she joined the gospel group Authentic Worship and also became part of the Mayine Gospel Crossover Choir. Her musical gift has made a meaningful and positive impact on many lives, both locally and beyond. In addition to gospel music, Sinaye is experienced in other genres, including Jazz and Indigenous music. Coming from a musical family, Sinaye has been singing from a young age and draws much of her inspiration from her father. She is known as a woman of truth, integrity, and strong faith in Christ, carrying herself with honesty, passion, and purpose in both her ministry and artistry.
